Provence Côte d'Azur: Nice carnival kicks off tomorrow

Alternative traffic routes in Nice during carnival

The much anticipated Nice carnival begins tomorrow, Friday the 12th February. However, with severe weather warnings in force today, it’s certain that the organisers are keeping their fingers crossed for fair weather to kick off the annual event. In the March issue of The Riviera Times our front page article details the many events and parades that take place during the fortnight-long carnival. We have published an extract with the best ‘what’s going on’ in our events section on the website. Although the carnival provides much fun for families and visitors drivers in the city should take note of the traffic disruptions as a result.
