Sophia Business Angels event2nd Annual Entrepreneurship Boot Camp and Competition on the 24th The Sophia Business Angels (SBA), is holding its 2nd Annual Entrepreneurship Boot Camp and Competition on the November 24th from 10.30 – 5pm at the Antipolis Innovation Campus, 300 Route des Cretes, Sophia Antipolis.The event brings young entrepreneurs together with seasoned business angels in an all-day coaching and pitching session free of charge. At the end of the day, two winners will be chosen to present that evening to the regular Assembly of the Sophia Business Angels as well as to the national France Angels Congress in Marseille on 30 November. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural Entrepreneur Boot camp and Competition which produced three winners, all of whom went on to have successful businesses, the SBA has opened this year’s event to the entire PACA (Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur) region. Angels from France and Provence Angels will join the Sophia Antipolis Business Angels to coach and judge start-up companies also coming from the entire region. The Sophia Business Angels’ work was recently recognised by the Ministry of Small and Medium size Enterprise, who awarded one of 11 national accreditations to the organisation. The SBA 2nd Autumn Entrepreneurship Boot Camp is taking place within the context of this grant as the Angel group continues to not only encourage young entrepreneurs but to give them the skills and necessary financial and other resources to have success in the business world. The event is also being held in cooperation with the national “Semaine des Business Angels” taking place from 27 November – 01 December and both the winning entrants to the Entrepreneurship Boot Camp and SBA Members will be presenting at the Marseille Congress on 30 November.
