AS Monaco’s relegation from Ligue 1 football in May came as a shock for one of the French championship league’s most successful teams. After a poor start, the club found itself floundering in the relegation zone, where it stayed for most of the season.

OGC Nice and AS Monaco are set to battle it out to sign David Trezeguet and Ludovic Giuly.
