Old masters come to Mougins

Marc Farry will be just one of the stars competing in the Cannes-Mougins Masters

The tournament, which is held from 9 to 11 October, is the next stop on the European Seniors Tour schedule.

As the season draws to an end players will be looking for a good finish if they are to catch Bernhard Langer at the top of the Order of Merit.

Former major champions Ian Woosnam and Sandy Lyle are expected to be in field, alongside Ryder Cup stalwarts Sam Torrence and Costantino Rocca.

The Cannes Mougins Country Club was the host to the Cannes Open, which was cut from the European Tour Schedule in 2001.

It will be the first time that the European Seniors Tour has hosted an event in France since 2007, when Juan Quiros won the French Seniors Open at Domaine de Divonne.
