Monaco Yacht Club and the Saint Tropez Nautical Society, working in close collaboration with The Polo Club Saint Tropez are happy to present this year’s seventh edition of the Hippocampus Cup Competition. This 6-8-goal tournament is set to take place from 20th to 29th April and will involve a collection of exhilarating matches combining the art of sailing with polo.

This riveting and active competition, founded in 2006, is divided up into two different events – a polo tournament and a sequence of regattas. The event is exclusively reserved to the Smeralda 888 sailing boats as well as to the polo teams for the corresponding competition – The Polo Club Saint Tropez Easter Tournament.

Taking place at Haras de Gassin in Saint Tropez, the event will include an action packed programme composed of polo matches, fleet races, semi-finals and of course the great final which takes place on the last day of the tournament. In the mornings nine sailing boats will be competing for honours on the waters of Saint Tropez and then in the afternoons, four teams will face each other in the polo section of the competition at the Saint Tropez Polo Club.

Parties and a diverse range of activities are organised throughout the duration of the competition. On the 28th April an exclusive gala dinner will be held in the evening where prizes will be rewarded to participants– this event is by invitation only.

The majority of the events running throughout the competition are free and open to the public. For more information about the occasion and its schedule then please click here.
