MIPIM moves beyond the crisis

The biggest real estate event of the year is on this week

Touted as the largest international retail real estate event of the year it is an ideal opportunity to meet the key players and to stay on top of industry trends.

Thousands of high profile, international leaders convene at MIPIM every year to assess profitable ventures, network with potential partners and promote their projects. Local authorities, corporate end-users, architects and hospitality professionals are among those who attend.

This year's list of keynote speakers in a full programme of seminars and talks includes London's controversial Mayor Boris Johnson, Khaled Al Aboodi, Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Cooperation for the Development of the Private Sector in Saudi Arabia, and Ben Broadbent, an economist for Goldman Sachs in the UK.

For the second year running the event is hosting a special Mayors' think-tank, a closed-door event for mayors and top political decision-makers.

At the beginning of the month, nearly 2,000 companies and over 2,300 investors had already registered for this not-to-be-missed property development market event.
