Provence & Cote d'Azur: A message from the BPCA to clients
VAR update
Starting today, 18th of June, some members of our insurance service team will be in the offices of Draguignan and Vidauban to support concerned clients with the necessary procedures to declare losses and damages. In the meantime, and also for those who are unable to leave their homes yet, clients can call the following freephone number: 08 00 62 68 35, or the 0980 986 986, especially set up for you to report damage.
The actions of our insurance compagny with an immediat effect:
- for all damages, the deadline is extended until the 31st of July 2010
- the order on natural catastrophes for the Var (83) is advanced, that is to say that each client with a damage-guaranty can benefit from compensation for the insured goods
- absorption of costs concerning fees relating to relocation (people who had to move to alternative accomodation) for insured individuals who cannot live in their own property, with free insurance covering the temporary habitation
- all-in particpation of vehicle-renting fees if the vehicle of the insured person cannot be repaired
Furthermore, we have set up financial aid for our clients who are in difficulty, residents (principal residence) of the concerned areas and those who have suffered damages as a consequence of the floods i.e. loss of vehicles, residence (only principal residence that are seriously damaged), indispensable working tools...:
- personal loans in order to cope with immediate expenses
- professionnals will be allowed to take on debt
- a postponement on the deadline for real estate or professionnal loans
