Thieves smash car into ATM
Police are searching for a group of thieves who stole thousands of euros from an ATM machine in a daring robbery, which saw the vandals ram their car at high speed into a cash machine in Vallauris on Friday 4th May.
The incident took place at around midday at a Caisse d’epargne bank located on rue du Plan in Vallauris town centre.
The thieves’ car reportedly caught fire but was extinguished shortly after. They fled the scene with a hefty loot on a scooter parked nearby.
Fortunately no one was is believed to have been injured in the incident.
