Provence & Côte d'Azur: Antibes is presenting to the region a festival of circus acts

Street Festival: Déantibulations

As Cannes and Monaco revel in luxury on the last weekend of May, circus acts will be rolling into the town of Antibes, presenting a dramatic mix of arts and street entertainment. Somersaults, fire dances and magic performances will be the focus of this jaw-dropping programme, which is guaranteed to amaze audiences.

The 9th edition of the exuberant, vibrant and energetic Déantibulations Festival will take place at the end of this month between the 25th and 28th May. The old town of Antibes will be transformed into a festive playground and filled with an eclectic selection of professional artists and their shows.

During the four day festival, a diverse array of performances will rage through the streets, and spectators will be immersed in a dynamic and convivial atmosphere. The festival, organised by ACLA, features puppet shows, concerts, dances and a fun-filled, highly skilled circus cabaret. A display of mind blowing productions is guaranteed, reflecting the diversified and creative world of visual and performing arts.

On Saturday, the festivities will also be accompanied by a live electric band La Fanfare Electrique as well as a Brazilian music percussion master class.
