Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat hotel wins Europe’s best spa award
The award recognises the excellence of the spa, from the first class service to the luxurious products and treatments available.
Several hotel officials and ambassadors were present at the glamorous ceremony at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe hotel in Paris. The award was presented to the manager of the Grand-Hôtel, Marc Leveau, by Henry-Jean Servat and Rémy Le Liepvre, creators of the Prix Villégiature.
The Grand-Hôtel spa sits in a prime location overlooking the Mediterranean sea. It is spread over 750 square metres, and includes six rooms equipped for facials and body massages, three rooms dedicated to spa treatments, a steam room, a private sauna, a sensory shower, indoor pool, a hair salon and a relaxation room.
Outside, there are 1,200 square metres of private gardens, with five patios available to sit enjoy the Riviera views.
The best hotel in Europe award for 2011 went to the Plaza Athénée Paris, while Hotel Metropole Venise in Italy won the most charming hotel award.
