Porn star killer on the run in France?

Model and porn star Rocco Luka Magnotta is wanted in connection to the gruesome murder by Canadian police

The case began on Tuesday when a terrified government official opened up a package that had arrived that morning in the mail. Inside the blood soaked box lay a dismembered, fetid human foot. Other workers in the office have described the scene to the media, saying that as soon as political advisor Jenni Bryne broke the seal a "horrible odour filled the room".

The monstrous delivery was not addressed directly to anyone working at the Conservative Party of Canada  but within a few hours a second body part - a hand - was discovered in Canada's mail system. Police have revealed that this limb had been destined for the offices of the Liberal Party of Canada.

On the same day, a janitor in a working class area of Francophone Montreal came across a rotting suitcase behind Magnotta's apartment building. 49-year-old Mike Nadeau told the Ottawa Citizen that the luggage bag had been sitting there for several days and had developed a very "strong smell". "Flies and maggots" were all over the bag, according to Nadeau's interview, and when the caretaker unlocked the suitcase with a friend, they discovered the headless, greying torso.

Police are now looking for Magnotta, also known as Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov under some of his many aliases, who they believe could be behind the horrendous murder.

Last Saturday night, a Montana lawyer called Roger Renville accidently stumbled across a vicious video depicting a man who closely resembles five-foot-eight Magnotta killing a man identified as his gay lover with a ice pick. The graphic clip, posted on a gore website, allegedly shows Magnotta attacking his naked victim with the tool before slashing the man's throat. The supposed suspect then slices up the corpse and performs sexual and necrophilic acts with it.

The 29-year-old adult film actor has been branded an "attention seeker" by police officials who believe that, to morbid Magnotta, this is all a game.

In 2009, someone published an article on The Digital Journal entitled "How to disappear completely and never be found" under Magnotta's name. The article provides readers with a step-by-step account of how to "vanish" before advising people to be "completely sure of yourself before you commit to this".

Effeminate Magnotta may have been planning his disappearance for some time and police are concerned that the missing body parts could be elsewhere in the Canadian postal system.

Police have reportedly told the media that the main suspect's family live overseas but they have been unable to make contact.

His current whereabouts are unknown but police have publicly speculated their fears that he could have fled the country and come to France.
