Polo team parade through Saint Tropez

The 2011 Open du Soleil polo tournament kicks off this evening in grand style with a special parade of the polo teams through the village of Gassin. They’ll be accompanied by the Libération Orchestra brass band, and will parade around the village, finishing at the boules square with a speech from the Mayor, a drink, and the traditional sharing of Anchoïade. The event starts at the entrance of the village at 7pm.
