Provence & Côte d'Azur: Illegally registered vehicles belonging to a prince under control

Police seize 31 luxury cars belonging to an Arabian prince

In the heights of Cannet, Alpes-Maritimes, police have seized 2 Rolls Royce, 2 Maybachs and a Bentley. The 5 luxury vehicles belonging to a Prince of Arabia have been taken off the roads after being illegally registered for some time.

Elsewhere in an underground parking facility near to the sheik’s 5 000 m² empire, authorities have already found 26 other illegally registered vehicles from the Prince’s list, containing some of the most expensive cars in the world.

After a judge investigated the matter in more detail, suspicion has arisen surrounding one of the Prince’s ex-employees from Draguignan. The man in question remains in custody until further enquiries are carried out.

Even though the police have seized those illegal luxury cars, I wonder if the Prince would actually come into any trouble with the law. Knowing that he is from royalty, he would surely be pardoned or given a very light sentence.
