This means that those living in the South of France won't miss out on any of the action taking place over the pond on the 29th of April.

The website "official royal wedding" was launched in March with the aim of bringing royalists and romantics, all the latest exclusive news on the Windsor-Middleton wedding bonanza.

The home-page features the celebrated photographer Mario Testino's portrait of the couple, which was released to mark their engagement.

Then there are details about the wedding service and procession, a virtual tour of Buckingham Palace and a link to a number of the monarchy's social media sites.

Gifts

If you would like to give the couple a wedding gift then consider heading down to one of the region's British consulates, where you can sign a comment book and leave your well wishes and congratulations.

In Marseille, the signing takes place at the British Consulate from 9.30 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4.30 pm; in Monaco head to the Honorary British Consulate from 9 am to 12 pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm; and in Nice the Honorary British Consulate will be open to those who want to leave a few words from the 26th to 28th of April at 10 am.
