Provence & Côte d'Azur: Over 100 people yesterday were eager to get their hands on some Lady Gaga concert tickets
Lady Gaga mania
There was chaos yesterday as Lady Gaga fans rushed to buy tickets to the October concert.
Around 100 people reportedly flocked to FNAC hours before the store opened, hoping to be the first to obtain tickets to the Nikaia concert in Nice.
As soon as the doors opened at 10 am, a rush of Lady Gaga fanatics literally ran to the first floor. There were also scenes of pushing and shoving along the escalators.
Reserving tickets on the internet was out of the question for these hardcore fans. "We want to be a 100 per cent sure that we get a place. You can't always rely on the internet, for example the internet connection might be too slow – there is no way I'm missing this concert," exclaimed Lady Gaga enthusiast Steve again to local newspaper Nice Matin.
As part of her Born this Way Ball tour, Lady Gaga will be performing at two concerts in France; one on 22nd September at the stade de France in Paris and the other on 4th October at the stade Charles-Ehrmann in Nice.
