Ladies day at the races

For the ladies who are looking for a chance to dress up and head to the races, there’s a great event organised for 9th July. The first ever Amber Ladies Day will be held in Cagnes sur Mer and there’s only one condition – you must wear a hat!

Organised by RivieraWoman.com creator Anna Fill and author Dani Carew, the Amber Ladies Day is designed to inspire and motivate women, while also ensuring they have plenty of fun.

The programme includes cocktails and a lovely meal, speeches from inspirational women and goody bags. It will be held at the Hippodrome.

On the same day, the Hippodrome will be celebrating its 60th birthday, so guests will also be treated a display of vintage cars, a fashion show, musical entertainment as well as the racing and a firework finale.

Dani Carew launched her book 'Redefining Amber' in February 2011. The story tells of a divorced woman re-inventing herself and finding new happiness and fortune. That was the basis of the fun day out.

"It is a pleasure to work with Dani on this event because our mission is for women to feel good about themselves and have a lot of fun," said Anna.
