Jellyfish beware of the MedAzur

Marine biologists are blaming hot dry weather for bring-ing jellyfish closer to the shore, and say overfishing may be increasing their numbers.

It is believed that global warming is behind the increase in the amount of pesky stingers in the region. Because the seas around the Côte d'Azur are heating the water makes a perfect home for the jellyfish. It’s fortunate then, that a new system has been developed to stop them from coming to the shore.
