Mayor of Toulon and president of hospital surveillance in Toulon-La-Seyne Hubert Falco welcomed the pair as they visited operating theatres and wards of the new development.

Patients will start being transferred to the hospital in December, and it will take around six months in all to complete the changeover.

Located across ten acres and housed in three separate buildings, Sainte-Musse hospital will become a health hub servicing the Var region. The hospital unit will establish facilities for medical, surgery, midwifery and psychiatric purposes, while there will be an isolated building designed especially for energy production.
