Provence & Côte d’Azur: Residents of the city will be interviewed on their working life

Employment survey in Nice

Who is working? How many are unemployed? Who is retired? These questions, and more, should be answered by a survey directed at Nice’s residents this summer, to reveal the changes and developments of the labour market and the characteristics of its workers.

INSEE will be asking the residents of Nice about their working lives

The French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) will be carrying out the survey on the theme ‘Employment, Unemployment and Inactivity’. It is expected to provide important information on working conditions, career paths and the education and training of those over the age of 15, to gain a greater insight into the working characteristics of the area.

Until 20th October, INSEE will be interviewing Nice's residents over the phone or at home. Households will be notified by an official letter sent from INSEE, and will include the specific subject of the investigation and the person carrying out the review.
