There’s a wide selection of events to pick from, so revelers are sure to find something that’s suits their party style. Join in with the champagne toasts and lavish parties as Her Majesty celebrates 60 years on the royal throne.
The International Club of the Riviera
Sticking to strong English tradition, The International Club of the Riviera is hosting a diamond jubilee street party on Saturday 26th May. Enjoy some excellent wines, good company and live music provided by The Riviera International Singers who will be performing at the event.

Menton British Association
Share a champagne toast to Queen Elizabeth II’s 60 year reign with the Menton branch of the British Association on Saturday 2nd June as the organisation lifts its glasses to the world’s most prominent royal. The event begins at 11am with a classic flute of fizz which will be followed by speeches and a delicious three course meal. Jane Levine will also be singing at the luncheon.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the festivities. Tickets cost 25 euros and reservations must be made before the 20th May. To book your place at the event, call: 04 93 28 10 02.
Cannes British Association
If you desperate to see the live celebrations but couldn’t get a flight home, the Cannes British Association will be setting up a large screen at the Grange (815 Chemin des Gourettes) for people to come along and join in with the spirit of the jubilee. The event begins at 11.30am and from noon a barbecue will also be on-site as a team of professional caterers serve up nibbles for attendees.
Non-members are also welcome to the event which costs 25 euros per person. To secure your spot in front of the big screen, email: chairman.cannes@britishassociation.info.
Yacht Club of Monaco
To mark the special day on Saturday 2nd June, the Nice-Monaco Royal British Legion is holding a cocktail party in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. Monegasque government officials have been invited to the glamourous event and the chairman and commander of the local legion Michael Healy is welcoming non-members to come along to the evening too. With drinks from 2.50 euros, what’s not to like?
The soiree begins at 6.30pm and smart dress is obligatory. If this sounds like the evening for you, reserve a spot at the Yacht Club of Monaco by emailing your name, nationality, email address and telephone number to: jubileepartymonaco@gmail.com.
Saint Paul’s Jubilee Beach Party
For a slightly more unconventional take on the royal celebrations, grab your flip-flops and head to Monaco’s Larvotto beach on Saturday 2nd June to join in with the Principality’s beach party. Cover charge is 35 euros and partygoers will receive a welcome drink on arrival at 7.30pm as well as a tasty gourmet meal later in the evening.
For those wanting to celebrate Liz’s six decades as the royal head of Great Britain and the Commonwealth in the sunshine, this is the night for you. To book a place at Monaco’s sandy revels, email: monacobeachparty@aol.com.
