Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to wed on the French Riviera?

As reported in various media throughout the world today, the pair could exchange vows in a pre-Roman chapel in the grounds of their French mansion. With an estimated 200 to 300 guests expected to receive invites to the lavish wedding ceremony, it’s sure to be an exquisite affair. A-list stars, including Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, George Clooney and Matt Damon, are amongst those rumoured to attend.

A friend of the couple has revealed to the media that for months the pair had been secretly preparing the wedding - one of the most highly anticipated of all time. “I've seen their chateau, and it is one of the most romantic settings imaginable."

Brad’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, told People Magazine that “it is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy.”

Brad reportedly designed Angelina’s engagement ring with top jeweller Robert Procop. He told the magazine how Brad wanted every aspect of it to be perfect: “We were able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.”

The couple became close on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005. They have three biological children as well as three adopted ones.

Brad told People Magazine “It means so much to my children, because they ask me a lot. And of course, it means something to me, too, to be able to make that kind of commitment.”
