Bird hunting suspended in Var

Due to the current weather conditions, residents in the Var have been asked to suspend the shooting and hunting of various birds that are currently travelling through the region. An official document lists birds such as woodcock, snipe and a number of water birds amongst those to be protected.

This suspension will last until this Friday 10th February.
