Saint Tropez Vintage Fair
This weekend, visitors and local residents will have the chance to take a trip back to the wild styles of the last century at Saint Tropez's first ever vintage fair takes place at the Salle Jean Despas.
Vintage fashionistas will be able to explore the selection of exhibitions on offer, picking up items by high profile designers including Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gauliter, Kenzo and Hermès. An exclusive auction will also be held at 2.30pm on Saturday at salle Louis-Blanc.

Wine Growers' Show (Salons des Vignerons)
Savour the delightful blend of flavours in a selection of tantalising wines from across the region at this year's wine show, held at the Hippodrome in the picturesque Cagnes sur Mer. The event will take place from 27th April to 1st May and will incude a display of around 250 wine exhibitions all of French origin. Exhibitors will be on hand to introduce their wines and vine stock as well as their regonal specialities. It's a wine connoisseur's heaven!
The event is open from 10am – 8pm (ends at 7pm on Tuesday). Entrance is eight euros per person.

On the 29th April in the humble village of Vallauris Golfe Juan, visitors will be able to observe crowds of orange blossom pickers in authentic attire equipped with wheelbarrows, parading in the streets. This lively atmosphere, accompanied by a band, is a worthwhile spectacle for all to enjoy!
There will also be demonstrations of orange blossom picking and stalls of regional specialities, creating a bold authentic atmosphere.
The traditional festival will take place from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.

Strawberry Festival
The 38th edition of the strawberry festival begins today and runs until Sunday in the small town of Carros. It offers the the chance to sample and buy some of the finest strawberries in the region. The event will also include a range of exhibitions and culinary workshops for children.
Tonight, a cabaret will take place in addition to a special dance evening on Sunday with servings of the region's famous Pistou Soup.
The Carros Strawberry Festival has gained a good reputation throughout the years and is one of the most important agricultural festivals in the region.

Honey Festival
The 18th edition of the honey festival will take place on Sunday in Mouans Sartox (12km from Cannes). Throughout the day, there's a host of activities including demonstrations and workshops involving the region's speciality – honey. Around 10,000 visitors are expected to attend.

Fête des Mais
Every year, Nice celebrates this traditional festival in the enchanting and vibrant setting of the Climiez arenas and gardens. The festival starts on the 1st May and will take place every Sunday until the 27th May.
The festival began 100 years ago when residents would welcome the arrival of spring. Today the tradition continues, attracting locals and tourists from around the region, inviting them to immerse themselves in nicoise culture.
This beloved festival, full of colour and action, allows audiences to experience Nice's specialities as well as view a multitude of shows and energetic dances. Paticipants will also be dressed in authentic costume. A perfect family day out!

Animations de Printemps
To celebrate the spring season, Nice is inviting families to indulge in a great day out at Parc Phoenix, giving them the opportunity to engage in a series of exhibitions and performances throughout the day.
Children will be able to participate in a range of gardening workshops and pony rides, observe a number of spectacles including a magic show, and play on the bouncy castles.
Activities are already taking place from now until the 6th May. Parc Phoenix is located on the Promenade des Anglais. The park is open from 9.30am to 18.00pm (childrens' activities held from 3pm to 6pm).

Monaco Flower Show (Rêveries sur les Jardins)
The 15th edition of this show will take place on the 4th to 6th May and showcases a diverse collection of flowering plants together with a range of exterior decorations from fountains to outdoor furniture.
This top outdoor event, taking place on the Monte Carlo Casino terraces, will give visitors the chance to discover a range of exotic and colourful plants as well as a number of home accessories. The show also includes the world famous Flower Arrangement Contest where around 150 participants will compete to win the prize for the best bouquet.
Admission to the event is five euros per person.
