From the 19th to 22nd April, this classical ballet company, established in 1985, will present a multitude of captivating and enchanting performances at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, reaffirming its eclectic and unique approach to choreography.

The audience will have the opportunity to discover a unique and symbolic piece, specially choreographed by CanadianMarie Chouinard, which is comprised of a series of varied ballet movements with a collection of props including crutches, ropes, harnesses and artificial limbs. Here performers will create a sense of remix with the use of these unusual objects. For four weeks, three dancers, a choreographer and a team of technicians from the Canadian company have worked with the Monte Carlo Ballet company to create this unique and exclusive routine.

Performed worldwide, the Altro Canto, a soft, gentle and mystical dance accompanied by music from Italian composer Monteverdi, will be set within a peaceful, atmospheric and candle-lit backdrop. Performers will dazzle the audience with almost tangible and mystical effects created on stage.

At the request of Maillot, Jeroen Verbruggen, a passionate and dedicated young soloist of the ballet company has also choreographed a mind-blowing performance entitled Kill Bambi. The piece will depict a sense of danger and insecurity through the use of agitated, jittery and chaotic movements.
