Monaco: Here's what's on the cards at the Grimaldi Forum this year...

Chicago headlines at the Grimaldi Forum

The West End musical Chicago headlines this year's Grimaldi Forum lineup in Monaco. In fact, 2012 is set to be a great year if the Forum's events calendar is anything to go by. Monegasques and visitors to the Principality can look forward to a jam-packed schedule of art, music and comedy shows, all taking place from 28th January onwards.

The musical Chicago will run from 21st to 25th June 2012

Comedy

As part of his 2012 French tour, Jamel Debbouze will present a comedy spectacular on 28th January. For 45 euros, the pint-sized comic will be putting on a Côte d'Azur exclusive, tickling the comedy taste buds of all.

Staying with laughter Monaco Live Productions will be making an appearance from 22nd to 25th March. Spread across four days, the Festival du Rire celebrates its seventh anniversary. This year’s acts will include Chantal Ladescou and Stéphane Rousseau.

The 28th edition of the Printemps des Arts classical music festival will begin on 16th March and run until 8th April. The diverse programme welcomes four European orchestras performing an array of musical tributes to Anton Bruckner (1824-1896).

Look out too for the Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich on 30th March, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra on 1st April, the Staatskapelle Dresden on 4th April, and the London Symphony Orchestra on 5th April.

TV stars and a musical

Meanwhile, the annual TV Festival kicks off a four-day schedule on 10th June. The 52nd edition promises not to disappoint, with international television stars making an appearance as always.

Finally, get ready to put your dancing shoes on as the world-famous West End classic Chicago comes to town. Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Billy Flynn will be showing you that they've got 'All That Jazz' from 21st to 25th June. The London Broadway marvel has toured more than 250 cities worldwide and scooped nine awards.
