Provence & Côte d’Azur: From each anti-smoking package sold, 20 cents is donated to Alpes-Maritimes cancer committee
It's time to butt out
You’re not only helping yourself by giving up smoking with Arkopharma, but helping others too, as the company promises to donate 20 cents from each box of Tabapass sold to the Alpes-Maritimes' fight against cancer committee.
Thanks to the donations, the Alpes-Maritimes League against Cancer Committee has promised to dedicate money to an anti-smoking campaign targeted at young people in the region. The committee has also spearheaded an innovative action plan aimed at college students in the department.
Selected students in the region today have been invited to attend an interactive theatre debate titled Sans passage a tabac in Nice. The production aims to educate young people aged between 12 and 13 years old about the risks of smoking, but also to maintain a positive attitude about their body, both physically and psychologically.
The discussion includes three real-life sketches concerning issues of smoking, during which audience members can go onto stage and replace characters as a sign of solidarity.
