Italian Riviera: A weekend and streets full of music

Festival delle Bande Sanremo

The Italian seaside resort of Sanremo will be swinging this weekend, September 30 to October 1st, as the town celebrates the 10th year of its famous Festival delle Bande.

Numerous bands, not only from Italy, but also Switzerland and Germany will be making music in the streets and piazzas. On the 30th the bands follow a route around the streets while on the Sunday a series of concerts are being planned in Piazza Colombo, Piazza Cassini and Piazza San Siro.
