Gourmet: Treat yourself to some Michelin star food
Tasty treats on the slopes
In collaboration with the Association de Commerçants et d’Artisans de Saint-Etienne de Tinée and les Toqués font du ski, Auron ski resort is taking chefs out of the kitchen and spicing things up on the slopes for the first ‘Chefs au Sommet d’Auron’, taking place over four days from 28th to 31st January.
On Monday 30th January, Michelin star gems Didier Aniès, Jacques Chibois, Philippe Jego, Patrick Raingeard, Emmanuel Ruz , Xavier (Master Chef winner 2011) and Franck Puccetti will prepare an evening banquet in the restaurants of the Auron ski station.
For snow-lovers hitting Auron on Tuesday 31st January, head to the pâtissiers de l’Apreca for something sweet afterwards.
Several entertainment specials will be on offer over the four-day period, including a competition for the best Saint-Etienne de Tinée dish made by the chefs, judged by a panel of ‘Chefs au Sommet’ judges.
Organised by Gérard Grech, this is one culinary marvel that is not to missed.
