Click on the “Register-Button” on the top corner on the right hand side. – On this registration page you will find the overview of your advantages.
– Now click on the blue button: “register now for free”
– Put in your personal data. Don’t worry its only you who can see it and we keep your personal data in confidence.
– You can chose your username and a password. Please keep in mind that you will need it for every login on www.rivieratimes.com
– We ask you to total the two simple numbers. With this security question we can make sure that you are a normal user and not a web robot. Then click on “register”.
– Now you will receive your confirmation mail. Please click only once on the link and it guides you directly to the Login-Page.

If I am already a subscriber, how can I register and log on the free Online-Service?
Simply click on "Free Registration“ at the top right corner. Follow the link to the registration form, fill in the form and submit., Afterwards you will receive a confirmation email. Now just click on the link (once) which will lead you to the normal Log-In page.
Congratulations, now you are one of our VIP users and part of the Community of the Riviera Times. Log in and you will reach your user account.
Why do you need to know my customer number?
You need put in to your customer number, so that the system recognises you as a current subscriber. Otherwise you can't manage your subscription 24h/7.
If you missed one issue of The Riviera Times, we need to know your customer number, so that we can send out another copy for you, And last but not least many competitions are exclusively for our subscribers. Tell us your customer number and you can join the competitions and win great prizes.
You can find your customer numer on your invoice, on your bank statement or on the first confirmation letter. If you registered first without knowing this number you can easily ad it later to your account details.
What can I do when I forgot my username?
The username is your ID on our website, so try and keep it in mind as best as your can.
In the rarely cases that you can't remember your username at all, your have to get in touch with us. Just write your querie in the contact form and we get back to you via email, as quick as possible. Tell us your name and address and the email-address, that you were using at the registration.

What can I do when I forgot my password?
Next to the Login Button your find the Link "Forgot password?" Just click on it, tell us your username and the email, that you used for the registration. At last you have to tell the security code, to avoid any misuse. Afterwards you will receive an email, to your registered Email-address. Klick on the sent link and give yourself a new password. Forgotten password...
How to change my password?
You can change your password at any time. Just log on and click afterwards on "My password". This guides you on the "Change password"- page. Here you can change the password very quick and easy.
What does the ($)-sign mean?
News articles that are marked with the ($)-sign are top stories, edited for you by our journalists. These articles will cost a small contribution from January 2010 on. The news teaser will be open for everyone. If you want to read the full article. you have to be logged in and you need to have a topped up credit in Euros. You can top up your balance at any time and very simply in your readers account.

I wrote a comment to an article - why does it not appear directly?
Comments will only be published after a review from our editoral department web master. We try to publish all comments as quick as possible but wanna keep up a high standard on our pages and a certain "netiquette". We want to make sure, that no abusive, offending, rracist or sexual taunts or otherwise inappropriate contents appear on our websites.

Where, when and how can I place a classified ad in The Riviera Times? appear directly?
As a registered user, you have many advantages.
One of them is that you can place your classified ads in a very simple way. Your ad will be published in The Riviera Times newspaper and online, which means you can reach over 150,000 contacts every month.
Here’s how you do it:
You click the button entitled: "place a classified ad". If you are not logged in already, you will be asked to do so first. Next, you will choose between the two different options: personal or business ads. Any classified ad that is intended to have commercial benefits is automatically classed as a business ad and will be charged accordingly.
In order to keep prices as low, note that private ads can be placed via our online tool only!
Please make sure you get it right because business ads that have been booked as private ones will not be taken into account. You must place a business ad for a minimum of three issues.
In the upload form, simply follow the instructions:
- put in the text, upload the photos and chose the frame.
- The price-calculator works out the advertising rate per month.
- Now click "submit" and pay for your ad with pay pal or by credit card.
- At the end you will receive confirmation.
