Photomed Festival

The 2nd edition of the Mediterranean Photography Festival. To celebrate the event, there will be 20 collections at exhibitions in Sanary sur Mer, Bandol, Ile de Bendor and Toulon.

With works by Massimo Vitali,, Joel Meyerowitz, Jacques Henri Lartigue, Bernard Faucon, Bernard Plossu, Walter Carone, Martine Voyeux, Gérard Rondeau, Nermine Hammam, Massimo Cristaldi and Scarlett Coten.

Grasse police end inquiry into fictional kidnapping

Police in Grasse have backtracked on an investigation into the disappearance of a teenage girl, after it emerged that their witness fabricated the entire story. The 22-year-old man, who was the only witness to come forward, had claimed that he saw the abduction of a girl aged 14 or 15 on Saturday night. However, investigators performed a U-turn after CCTV footage of the scene showed nothing to suggest a kidnapping. Read more …
