Journées Aéronautiques 2012

For one week, the Fayence aerodrome will welcome 20 vintage aircraft dating from 1940 to 1970, with the French flying team also making an appearance at the event. Flying fanatics can enjoy the retro exhibition with collectors cars, motors and vintage planes as well as military vehicles.  

With entertainment for the children.

Grasse police end inquiry into fictional kidnapping

Police in Grasse have backtracked on an investigation into the disappearance of a teenage girl, after it emerged that their witness fabricated the entire story. The 22-year-old man, who was the only witness to come forward, had claimed that he saw the abduction of a girl aged 14 or 15 on Saturday night. However, investigators performed a U-turn after CCTV footage of the scene showed nothing to suggest a kidnapping. Read more …
