The exhibition is on show at the Palais des Festival in Cannes

The Romy Schneider Exhibition at the Cannes’ Palais des Festivals runs until 2nd September and offers fans a deeper insight into her ultimately tragic life through photos, videos, stories and articles.

At the tender age of 15, Schneider debuted in her first film alongside her mother, Magda, who was the driving force behind her immediate and ultimately continued success. Born into a family of actors, she was destined for a life of fame, a seamless career spanning nearly three decades. She brought much joy to many in her 60 plus films, yet her own existence was peppered with pain.
