Picasso Exhibition - les chemins du Sud

The Centre d'art La Mal Maison is delighted to present the primitive and expressionist works of notorious Spanish artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). Taking place from the 1st July to 30th September, this exclusive exhibition will feature numerous masterpieces from the collection of Paris' world-renowned Musée National Picasso including paintings and sculptures which display various themes of the post blue period.

Picasso is one of the most widely recognised and influential artists of 20th century. He contributed greatly to the cultural life of the Côte d'Azur after moving to Vallauris in 1946.  These eclectic, colourful and eccentric creations featured in the exhibition will echo feelings and emotions drawn from Picasso's  vibrant imagination during his time in France.

The exhibition will also showcase a series of documentary photographs created by André Villers, again presenting a detailed view of Picasso's life on the French Riviera.

Open every day in July and August from 11am to 8pm, Fridays until 9pm. In September, open every day from 10 am to 7 pm.

At the Centre d'Art La Malmaison, 47 boulevard de la Croisette. Works are also featured on public walls between Cannes and Vallauris.

Admission is 10 euros each. For more information, call 04 97 06 44 90
