Provence & Côte d'Azur: Eco ‘Parc Mougins reveals world’s wonders

Excited about science

We can all remember those science exhibitions that thrilled and enthralled us as children. Well now we can pass on that wonderment of science, technology and human nature to other children.

Challenging young minds is the foundation of Eco ‘Parc

This winter, there are a host of exciting exhibitions at the Eco ‘Parc in Mougins, challenging the minds of everyone, aged 3 to 93. The Eco ‘Parc opened its doors to visitors on 22nd October, unveiling three interactive exhibitions - 'La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie' de Paris, 'Cap Sciences de Bordeaux' and 'Le Forum Départemental des Sciences de Villeneuve d'Ascq.

There are six themes overall, including sleep, the body, archaeology, games and a science village. Children can enjoy a cinema room showing educational films, and an electricity workshop where a range of puzzles test patience and speed. In fact, if you loved playing the 'Operation' board game as a child, then you'll enjoy the assault course, where if any part of the body touches the ropes, a siren is sounded (but thankfully not the electrical shock).

There's also a building playroom and workshop with giant building blocks introducing the little ones to the world of architecture. Will they have what it takes to build their own house? And when the hunger sets in, an outdoor play area and café are on hand.
