Art & Culture: 'Les Azuriales presents its final opera production of the season

Can you Handel it?

With many successful performances under its belt already this season, the les Azuriales Opera Festival is about to embark on a new a two-show stint of Handel’s Partenope in the magical surroundings of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Partenope, a comic opera, was originally rejected by the Royal Academy of Music when it was first performed but now represents one of Handel’s more significant major works.

Taking place in the gothic courtyard of the villa in the middle of the spectators, the intimate surroundings and first-class performance are sure to make your evening sparkle.

The first show takes place this Saturday evening (23rd August) at 8pm with another performance on the evening of 26th August.
