Business: ENGECO chief will push Principality's bid to host 2013 Young International Chamber of Commerce European Conference

Pierre Casaraghi becomes JCE honorary member

Pierre Casaraghi, the third in line to the Monegasque throne, has been nominated as an honorary member of the Jeune Chambre Economique.

The second eldest son of Princess Caroline was awarded the position in a plenary session earlier this month.

Casaraghi who previously studied at Bocconi University in Milan, now runs ENGECO, a construction company set up by his late father in 1984.

He has also been influential in Monaco’s bid to host Young International Chamber of Commerce European Conference in 2013. Casaraghi has promised to promote the Principality at the 2011 conference in Taragona, Spain.

Casaraghi joins his uncle, Prince Albert II, who is the chambre’s President, as part of the contingent of honorary members.
