Event: Doctors donate to a cause

Sponsor a hero

A team of seven cyclists are setting off from the UK to Nice to attend the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting.

L-R: Ken Sneddon, Jeremy Collyer and Paul Norris arrive 21st

The aim is to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes and they should arrive in Nice about 5.30pm on 21st June.

They will leave the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, near Epsom on the 15th, and each aims to cover an average 93 miles a day, a total of 652 miles, with lots of hills as they have chosen to take a circuitous route through the Alpes-Maritimes.

They hope to arrive in  time to attend a few lectures, and in some cases, to give lectures!
