With the best months of the skiing calendar on the way, don't miss out on the exciting upcoming events which are taking place in the Alpes throughout the ski season. Here's a brief rundown of the activities gracing the snowy slopes...

Hivernales 2012

Enjoy the adrenaline pumping jumps and stunts of some of the best snow performers on boards and skis at the Hivernales 2012. First-timers can also have a go at ski acrobatics and big jumps, with every participant receiving a 'freestyle' certificate and for the younger ones, a medal and gift. Roubion: 14-15 January, Gréolières-Les-Neiges: 28- 29 January, La Colmiane: 11-12 February, Valberg: 25-26 February, Auron: 10-11 March and Isola: 7-8 April. 
Andros trophy

Isola 20006- 7 January A nail biting car rally as drivers battle with the twists and turns of icy tracks, all vying for the coveted 'Andros Trophy'. 

National Raquette Day

Throughout the region- 15th January

Mountain gastronomy festival 

Enjoy alpine produce and regional specialities on the backdrop of glistening mountains. Five acclaimed Michelin star chefs will be preparing lunch on the slopes and an evening banquet in the station's restaurants. A tasting frenzy not to be missed- Auron 28-31 January.
