Santa Claus is coming to town

As excited children get ready for the most magical time of year, make sure you listen out for Santa's sleigh bells as Christmas cheer and yuletide joy spreads across the city of Nice. Here's a rundown of what's happening...

As excited children get ready for the most magical time of year, listen out for the bells ringing on Santa's sleigh as Christmas cheer and yuletide joy spreads across the city of Nice.
Excited children can enjoy a host of Christmas entertainment which is taking place across Nice this month

With the Christmas lights in Place Massena already sparkling, Santa Claus is set to spread a little more Christmas magic throughout the rest of the city with exciting entertainment for the whole family. 

To kick off the festive fun, children can enjoy a Christmas parade with a host of Christmas characters. Santa Claus will be there, so be sure to get your wish lists ready! The event will take place on Thursday 8th December at 5pm in Place des Amaryllis- Les Moulins in Nice.  

Other activities on the calendar of events are: 

West of Nice

Thursday 9th December from 10am to 4pm at Square Kirchner: Enjoy a variety of entertainment including face-painting, games, music and dancing. And, not forgetting the arrival of Father Christmas!

North of Nice 

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December from 10am to 6pm: Enjoy a host of entertainment for the whole family including a small animal farm, pony rides, puppet shows, inflatable games, as well as a torchlight parade and Christmas stalls selling yuletide treats. 
Saturday 17th and 24th December: Pony rides available on rue Mirabeau.

Saint-Roch

Wednesday 14th December from 2pm to 5pm: Father Christmas will arrive in Place Saint Roch. There will also be a small farm and entertainment. 

The Port

Saturday 17th December: Entertainment and games all day. 

Place Pellegrini 

Friday 16th to Saturday 23rd December: Christmas village and entertainment.
