Events: A night celebrating adverts from around the world

If you’re someone who sees the commercial break as a handy opportunity to put the kettle on, this event may not be for you. However, if you happen to appreciate the art of the advert, ‘La Nuit de Publivores,’ or ‘the night of ad eaters’ is a perfect soirée.

Set up in 1981, the unique show has toured the world. Described by Le Monde as “an explosive cocktail of rock-concert, football match and fair,” the show centres around screenings of adverts from the four corners of the globe.

300,000 ad-enthusiasts are expected to attend the event – which is free of charge - so if you fancy belting out your favourite jingles, head to ‘La Brasserie de Monaco’ on the 12th of August. The show starts at 6pm and the party is set to go on long into the night.
