Arts & Culture: PACA Orchestra and Nice Philharmonic programme
A feast of classical music
The concert starts at 4.30pm in the Théâtre Croisette under the Palais Stéphanie Hotel in Cannes, with Gautier Capuçon on cello and guest conductor Klaus Weise performing pieces by Dvorak and Finzi.
Sunday 21st March at 4.30pm in the Claude Debussy theatre in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, Philippe Bender conducts the pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque and the Cannes PACA Orchestra. On the programme: Poltz, Mozart, Poulenc and Schumann.
Friday 16 April at 3pm there is a special free entry event in the Joseph Kosma Auditorium in Nice entitled “Founding Composers of Music Direction at the time of André Malraux” conducted by Philippe Bender with Emmanuel Bleuse on cello. On the programme: Landowski, Charpentier and Bleuse.
Sunday 25 April at 4.30pm in the Théâtre Croisette a lyrical concert takes centre stage with soprano Isabelle Schoenhenz, alto Marie-Clothilde de Salvert, mezzo-soprano Patrick Garayt and tenor René Linnenbank, accompanied by the choir of the Nice-Sophia-Antipolis university.
