Events: Antibes Côte d’Azur rally takes to the streets as part of European Championships

Racing car enthusiasts will be heading to the Alpes-Maritimes coast for the 44th Antibes-Côte d’Azur Rally which starts tomorrow Thursday 15th until Sunday 18th October. There are three races – the Citroen Rally, the Antibes Classic and the International Rally.

A high level of entrants is expected as this event counts towards the European Championships run by the Fédération Internationale du Sport Automobile.

The place to be tomorrow is Place de-Gaulle at 5.30pm when the teams will be presented to the public. On the 16th the drivers set off at 7pm from Pinède Gould and Port Vauban at 8.40pm. The rally finishes at Pinède Gould on the 18th around 6pm and is followed by the prize-giving. As per usual, activities and various entertainments will be on the menu.

The event is hosted by the Antibes Juan-les-Pins town council, in conjunction with the PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) region and the department of the Alpes-Maritimes.
